Why "Red Letters"?

It was in high school. Long before life knocked me in the noggin with sense, I started the red letters.

On times of the day when the only company I had in the halls of Saint Therese School was the quiet, lonely air, I wrote. Little messages, words of kindness; words in red construction paper that would lift the spirit up a half notch, and I would leave them in people's desks, chairs, and lockers.

I like to think that the red letters are more than the ink scribbles. They are parts of me; my voice given written form. These letters are yours to indulge!
